Job Description Job Description Paradigm Properties Group, Inc. is Hiring a Full Time Maintenance Technician Full Time, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm Rotating On call emergency maintenance schedule required. Property located in Shippensburg PA (Deerfield Commons Apartments) Responsibilities: Complete the turnover process of any vacant units as directed by the Property Manager Complete unit inspections on AppFolio Painting units (trim, walls, ceiling, filling any holes) Ensuring all appliances are in good working order and repair if necessary Replace any trim, doors, drywall, if needed Maintain a clean workspace (in units and garage) Work within expense limits established by the Property Manager Coordinate special projects as directed by your direct supervisor. Monitor all work being performed by outside contractors. Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance as scheduled. Must be on rotating on call schedule. Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned. (alarm systems) Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees. Have a fair housing mindset (each individual is treated equally and fairly) Assure safety standards are being implemented and adhered to per the Employee Handbook and comply with all other company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines. This job requires exerting 50 to 200 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly. Special projects and other responsibilities may be assigned and will be included as part of the job scope from time to time. Complete daily service requests for tenants in a timely manner while ensuring unit turns are being completed. Maintain Pool area and furniture (seasonal) Daily inspection of dumpster areas, cleaning and removing items. Cleaning common areas, grass, parking lots to keep them free of debris. Removal of items in Bulk Area, place them into roll off dumpsters (monthly). Maintain lighting fixtures in buildings and parking lot. Painting of common areas as directed by Property Manager Maintain inventory and notify when low on stock Check roofs and notify management if need repaired Changing of dog waste station and bags Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, drywall, and appliance repair is a must Light snow removal when needed Supply personal tools to complete all tasks, specialty tools will be provided by Deerfield Commons.
