Job Description Job Description Job Title: Electrical Estimator This is a full-time permanent direct placement opportunity that provides great opportunities for advancement. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator who will be responsible for all aspects of Electrical estimation which includes taking off lighting, wiring devices, and gear as well as working directly with vendors to compile accurate estimates for potential commercial and residential multi-family Electrical projects of $1 Million. Responsibilities: - Accurately estimate plan and spec Electrical projects using estimating software - Analyze blueprints, specifications, and quotes - Prepare labor and material estimates as well as subcontractor pricing - Prepare and submit proposals - Establish and maintain client and vendor relationships - Perform site surveys and attend pre-bid walkthroughs - Prepare submittal packages - Interact with the sales and project management teams to ensure all projects are performed under budget and according to plans and specifications Qualifications: - 5 years of estimating experience in the Electrical industry with a proven track record - Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents - Knowledge of different types of Electrical systems and their components - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Trimble Accu-bid and LiveCount and Bluebeam products.
