ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A Speech Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) is needed for an on-site contract position serving
elementary students in the Baltimore area, Maryland. This
opportunity involves supporting PreK-5th grade students across two
schools, with a schedule split between Magnolia Elementary
(Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and Prospect Mill Elementary
(Monday, Wednesday). The assignment begins February 16, 2026, and
runs through May 29, 2026, with a possibility to extend for a
4-week Extended School Year (ESY) session in July.
Responsibilities: Provide speech-language pathology support to
elementary students under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Assist
in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and
targeted therapy plans. Track student progress and communicate
effectively with educators and families. Maintain compliance with
all school district regulations and credentialing requirements.
Qualifications: Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech
Language Pathology Assistant. Completion of district background
check, fingerprinting, and employment history review as mandated by
House Bill 486. Experience working with PreK-5th grade students
preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Availability to work 37.5 hours per week, distributed Monday
through Friday. Location: Magnolia Elementary School, Joppatowne,
MD (3 days per week) Prospect Mill Elementary School, Bel Air, MD
