Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the
2025-2026 school year in the Baltimore, MD area. This contract
position serves students in community preschool, elementary, and
middle school settings within a K-12 school district. Candidates
must hold active Maryland professional licensure and meet state
background requirements, including fingerprinting and employment
history review. Responsibilities include providing speech-language
services to a diverse caseload spanning preschool through middle
school students. Positions range from itinerant services at
community preschool locations to part-time and full-time roles in
elementary and middle schools. The middle school role involves
supervising a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in
delivering support services. Flexible scheduling options are
available, with full-time positions requiring 37.5 hours per week
Monday through Friday, and part-time available at 30 hours per week
Monday through Thursday, with potential for a five-day schedule.
Key Qualifications: Active Maryland Speech Language Pathologist
license Experience working with preschool to middle school
populations (PreK8) Ability to supervise SLPA services for
secondary students Compliance with House Bill 486 requirements,
including background check and fingerprinting Strong communication
and collaboration skills within school settings Locations Include:
Community Preschool locations (itinerant) Magnolia Elementary
School (3 days/week) Prospect Mill Elementary School (2 days/week)
Aberdeen Middle School (with SLPA supervision) Terms: Contract
duration varies by position, with start dates from January to March
2026 and options to extend through extended school year services in
July. Schedule flexibility considered to meet candidate
