Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
opportunity is available for experienced Teachers of the Visually
Impaired to support students across multiple school districts in
Washington County, PA. This contract position focuses on providing
specialized instruction and resources for K-12 students with visual
impairments. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored educational
programs and support services to students with visual impairments.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned
with state guidelines. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and
support staff to optimize student learning outcomes. Travel between
multiple district sites to provide onsite services; virtual
candidates may be considered based on district needs. Maintain
up-to-date documentation and compliance with all legal and
educational requirements. Qualifications and Experience: Active
Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) educator certification.
Proven experience working with visually impaired students across
K-12 grade levels. Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
while adapting to different learning environments. Comfortable with
travel between educational sites in Washington County. Strong
communication and organizational skills. Location: Washington
County, Pennsylvania Employment Type: Contract (Current School
Year) Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Number of Openings: Two
Work Setting: Onsite preferred, with consideration given to virtual
arrangements depending on district policies. This position offers
