Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a
skilled Speech-Language Pathologist fluent in American Sign
Language to support a regional day school program for deaf and
hard-of-hearing students within a K-12 setting. This full-time
teletherapy position involves working with children across
elementary through high school levels to provide comprehensive
speech and language intervention tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities include: Delivering teletherapy services focused
on speech-language development for students with hearing
impairments Collaborating with educators and support staff to
develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Utilizing expertise in ASL and/or holding Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Therapist certification to enhance communication access Monitoring
student progress and adjusting therapy goals accordingly
Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with
program standards Qualifications: Active Texas Speech-Language
Pathologist license Fluency in American Sign Language or
certification as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Therapist Experience
working with pediatric populations in educational settings,
particularly serving students who are deaf or hard of hearing
Strong communication and organizational skills essential for
teletherapy delivery Ability to work full-time hours (37.5 hours
per week) from the Arlington area This opportunity offers a
contract through the current school year, providing a meaningful
setting to support diverse learners' communication skills remotely.
