Job Description Job Description Job Title: Production Worker Job Description We are currently hiring production workers for all shifts across multiple departments. This role offers substantial opportunities for advancement, comprehensive training, and excellent benefits starting from day one. Responsibilities Collaborate with team members in a physically demanding role, involving lifting products in groups (no more than 40 pounds). Assist operators by checking product quality, monitoring production, and ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. Work off a bill of materials, assembly drawings, or verbal instructions to complete tasks. Use a computer to adjust pressures, dimensions, and cut sizes. Lay out final products and perform final assembly, ensuring quality through inspections. Utilize hand tools and blueprints to manufacture products based on work orders. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations. Meet daily production goals with clear expectations. Essential Skills One year of machine operating experience. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measurer. Additional Skills & Qualifications Trade school education (nice to have). Experience in automotive or assembly settings (nice to have). Work Environment Work in a fast-paced, clean, and organized production floor. The environment is well-lit, and shifts are available as follows: IMC Assembly (6:00am - 2:15pm, 2:00pm - 10:15pm, 10:00pm - 6:15am) and Roto Assembly (6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm, 10:00pm - 6:00am). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northampton, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.70 - $27.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
