Job Description:
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing
platforms, we are seeking an experienced Senior Product Lifecycle
Electrical Engineer to join our innovative Data Center Engineering
team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and managing
electrical infrastructures that underpin our expansive data centers
worldwide. You will be at the forefront of driving power systems
enhancements that optimize efficiencies, ensure operational
consistency, and scale our infrastructure to meet AWS' present and
future demands. By ensuring a robust electrical framework, you will
directly support AWS' capability to offer resilient and
uninterrupted services to millions of our global users. Analyze and
enhance existing electrical infrastructure designs to ensure
efficiency and resilience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams
to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, networking, and
software operations. Lead initiatives to reduce power consumption
and improve the environmental sustainability of data center
operations. Design and execute the electrical testing and
commissioning processes. Manage the lifecycle of electrical
components and systems, from inception through to end-of-life.
Ensure compliance with national and international electrical
standards and codes. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team
knowledge sharing. Proficient in the use of electrical design
software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep
understanding of electrical engineering principles. Knowledge of
data center power infrastructure, including UPS, PDU, generators,
and HVAC-related electrical systems. Exceptional communication and
