Job Description:
This Department of War enterprise data and analytics program
delivers mission-critical capabilities that enable leaders across
the Department to make faster, better-informed decisions using
trusted data at scale. Leidos Digital Modernization sector is
seeking an experienced Senior Requirements Engineer Lead to support
the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and
analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations. In this
role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and
other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic
requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will
contribute directly to product planning, execution, and continuous
improvement—helping ensure capabilities are delivered efficiently,
aligned to mission priorities, and positioned for sustained
success. This position offers the opportunity to work on a
high-visibility, enterprise program at the intersection of data,
analytics, and emerging AI technologies. Ideal candidates are

security outcomes. Primary Responsibilities: Design and implement
requirements management methodologies to enhance operational
efficiency. Utilize digital engineering approaches, including
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), to develop requirements
models and use cases. Manage the requirements backlog to ensure
alignment with program priorities and system roadmap objectives.
Collaborate with test, security, and engineering teams to validate
and codify requirements prior to development. Conduct systems
engineering activities to specify, build, and maintain system
engineering designs. Prepare and maintain a System Engineering Plan
(SEP) addressing all engineering and technical requirements.
Define, document, and maintain APIs and technical standards for
system interoperability. Engineer and continuously improve the
underlying infrastructure of the System. Identify and integrate
government, commercial, and open-source tools into the System.
Design and enhance user interface (UI) and user experience (UX)
components of the platform. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity
policies and maintain cybersecurity architecture for the system.
Perform site reliability engineering to ensure system reliability
and performance. Participate in the Engineering Control Board (ECB)
process for major engineering milestones. Foster relationships with
industry and academia to leverage advancements in data, analytics,
and AI technologies. Provide mentorship and guidance to team
members to enhance their professional development. Basic
Qualifications: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI
eligibility. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science,
Information Systems, or related technical discipline and 8–12 years
of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and
6–10 years of relevant experience. Proven experience with
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies. Strong
understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. Experience
managing a requirements backlog and collaborating with
cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and leadership
skills. Experience developing and managing requirements in DoD or
Federal enterprise environments. Experience implementing
requirements traceability using tools such as DOORS, JIRA,
Confluence, or similar platforms. Experience supporting DoD Risk
Management Framework (RMF) and mapping cybersecurity controls to
system requirements. Experience operating within SAFe or
large-scale Agile frameworks supporting enterprise systems.
Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring engineering or
requirements teams. Preferred Qualifications: Active TS/SCI
clearance. Familiarity with cloud environments and DevSecOps
practices. Experience with AI/ML model development and deployment.
Knowledge of open standards systems and their application in
military environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. SAFe Agilist
(SA), SAFe Practitioner, or related SAFe certification. Experience
leading requirements efforts for multi-enclave enterprise systems.
Experience integrating Zero Trust requirements into system
baselines. Experience supporting large-scale cloud, data, or
AI-enabled platforms in secure environments. If you're looking for

posting date as listed above. Pay Range: Pay Range $107,900.00 -
$195,050.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general
guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
