Job Description:
Summary:
A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for delivering
patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning,
implementation, and evaluation.
They prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate
patient teaching and ancillary nursing activities while maintaining
professional standards.
Provides both direct and indirect patient care.
Requirements:
Education/Skills: Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or
equivalent.
Experience: Preferred six months.
Licenses/Certifications: Current Texas nursing license; BLS within
2 weeks; Medication competence within 2 weeks; Computer skills
within 4 weeks; Arrhythmia recognition course within 12 weeks if no
ACLS; AHA ACLS within 16 weeks; Critical Care classes within 16
weeks; Phlebotomy/Point of Care within 4 weeks; TNCC and ENPC/PALS
within 6 months.
Work Type: Full-time.
