TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, 17837!
Pay Information $2,236 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years
License: Must have PA or multi-state license in-hand to be
considered Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, EPIC experience
preferred Must-Have: Tobacco and fragrance-free facility; COVID-19
vaccine required; Flu vaccine required Description: Special
procedures/equipment include vents, IV start, and telemetry. The
patient-to-nurse ratio in intensive care is 2:1 for critical care
unit patients. In overflow situations, stable downgraded patients
waiting to leave may require a 3:1 ratio. In intermediate care unit
settings, the ratio is 4:1. If the critical care unit is at
capacity and overflow occurs, the same 4:1 ratio applies.
Reassignment to acute care or orthopedic nursing could result in a
5:1 ratio. Candidates will be reviewed clinically to determine
clinical fit. If candidates pass the clinical review and meet
guidelines, they will be submitted for final decision. Manager
interviews will be conducted. Weekend work is expected 2-3 times
per month, likely every other weekend. Floating to other areas such
as intermediate care or acute care may occur. Travelers may care
for patients with COVID-19. Maximum allowable time off is 7 days.
