Job Description Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT/MLS) – Largo, MD (20774) Pay: $52–$57/hr | 10?Week Contract Start Date: ASAP or 02/09/26 Shift: 5×8s | Alternating Evening & Night Shifts We’re seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Laboratory Scientist with strong Blood Bank experience (HARD REQUIREMENT) to join a busy clinical laboratory in Largo, Maryland . This is an excellent opportunity for experienced lab professionals ready to step into a fast?paced environment with advanced instrumentation and diverse testing responsibilities. Position Details Location: Largo, MD 20774 Shifts: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Alternating evenings/nights (Monday–Friday) Contract Length: 10 Weeks Start: ASAP or Feb 9 (must complete compliance quickly) Holidays: Required if they fall during assignment Weekends: None On?Call: Not required Float: Within department if needed Requirements ASCP Certification REQUIRED ASCP?MLS BLS preferred Minimum 2 years experience (strong first?time travelers accepted) Blood Bank experience REQUIRED (hard stop) Flu Vaccine required (no exemptions) COVID not required Must live 50 miles from facility Key Skills & Experience Blood Bank: ABO/Rh, Antibody ID, Crossmatch, Antigen Typing, Transfusion Reaction Workups Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Immunoassay, Urinalysis Micro: Gram Stains, Cultures, Molecular PCR Specimen processing, accessioning, transport, reporting Instrumentation: Sysmex, Cobas, ACL TOP, Beckman, Hitachi, CellaVision, and more Independent work, strong troubleshooting, hands?on instrument experience *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
