Job Description Job Description SUMMARY: The outreach manager
develops and maintains successful working relationships with the
healthcare facilities and clinics that have patients/members with
regularly scheduled NEMT t ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Outreach
manager will visit these facilities and clinics and provide on-site
training about NEMT and review and respond to any issues as it
relates to member transportation. Will be an advocate for NEMT
services in the community and foster positive relationships with
healthcare clients and professionals. Will interact with healthcare
professionals regarding patient/member transportation services.
Will effectively communicate with healthcare facilities regarding
non-emergency medical transportation. Will educate members and
healthcare professionals on NEMT. Has the ability to communicate
effectively with clients and healthcare providers; ability to make
public presentations. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Effective
communicator with proven leadership skills and abilities. Clinical,
case management and/or discharge experience a plus. High level of
technical competence including proficiency with Microsoft Office
Suite. Excellent problem-solving skills: must be able to develop
and implement action plans to address issues. Ability to travel
throughout assigned region/territory. Approximately 20% of work
time is conducted in an office setting and approximately 80% will
require travel. Strong problem-resolution skills. Must have a
proactive approach to relationship building. Must be
solutions-oriented; creative innovative thinker. Must be able to
work independently and as a team member. Ability to analyze,
organize, prioritize, implement, and control business activities.
QUALIFICATION High school diploma or equivalent.
