This role is crucial in providing top-notch nursing care in our state-of-the-art outpatient surgery centers. Our focus is on delivering patient-first health care, and you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and successful surgical experience for our patients. This position requires a mix of clinical expertise, compassionate patient interaction, and rigorous adherence to safety protocols. Assess patient condition before, during, and after surgery, providing appropriate nursing care and interventions Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate patient records Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and postoperative care Ensure all safety and infection control standards are met Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to deliver cohesive care Manage recovery room and oversee patient discharge processes Strong clinical skills in a surgical setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records Valid RN license in the state of Maryland/Virginia/D.C. BLS/CPR certification ACLS certification preferred
