Doctor of Medicine | Hematology and Oncology Location: Chambersburg, PA Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Elevate your Hematology/Oncology practice with a rewarding locum opportunity in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania . This ongoing assignment offers a balanced mix of outpatient care and light inpatient consults, all within a collaborative and well-supported environment. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive cancer care in a community-based setting, with access to infusion services and strong clinical support. Ideal for physicians seeking flexibility, continuity, and meaningful patient impact. Schedule Highlights: Start: June 2026 (or as soon as credentialed) Long-term assignment through March 2027 Monday–Friday clinic schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Flexible commitment (minimum 3 days/week; full-time preferred) Call rotation: ~1 week/month (light volume, 0–2 calls/day) Weekend and night call included ??? Practice Details: Adult patient population Average 15 patients per day Mix: ~2/3 oncology, 1/3 hematology EMR: Epic Clinic limited inpatient consults (no daily rounding required) No inpatient chemotherapy administration Clinical Scope: Common cases: lung, breast, prostate, colorectal cancers Hematology cases and chronic disease management Infusion therapies: chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG, IV iron, injections No bone marrow biopsies or lumbar punctures required Collaborative care with radiation oncology and navigation teams Support & Environment: Team-based model with NP and virtual hematology support Not a solo provider role Participation in tumor boards Accredited cancer program with established workflows ?
