Job Description:
NVE is seeking a driven and collaborative Technology Manager to
oversee the daily operations of its enterprise technology
architecture. This role is central to NVE’s ongoing digital
transformation and the Technology Manager will serve as a strategic
partner in enabling secure, efficient, and modern technology across
the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a
customer-focused mindset, operational excellence, and a strong
understanding of how technology can support mission success in the
government contracting environment. This position is primarily
remote, but the candidate must be available for occasional travel
to the Herndon, VA headquarters or DMV-local client sites for key
meetings, trainings, or special projects. The Technology Manager
will work directly with the CIO to execute and evolve NVE’s
enterprise technology strategy. This includes playing a key role in
system administration, IT support, cybersecurity, license and asset
management, and employee training. The candidate must be passionate
about improving business processes through automation, analytics,
and secure systems integration—especially within the Microsoft 365
Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for remote and on-site IT
operations across NVE, including direct interaction with employees,
contractors, executive leadership, and key vendors. Oversees daily
IT functions, including help desk requests, system administration,
and general user support for a distributed workforce. Provide
employee training on new systems, tools, and IT best practices to
increase technical fluency and platform adoption. Manage Microsoft
365 GCC environment, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive,
and Defender and Intune security configurations. Lead the
configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Power Platform
solutions—especially Power Automate workflows—to streamline
business operations. Partner with business units to identify
automation opportunities and drive efficiencies through digital
solutions. Support the development and delivery of internal
dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power
BI. Maintain the company’s cybersecurity posture, supporting the
implementation and continuous monitoring of NIST 800-171 and CMMC
2.0 requirements. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies,
manage endpoint protection, and monitor activity using Microsoft
Security Center and related tools. Administer and track software
licenses, IT assets, and user accounts across all platforms.
Coordinate with managed service providers and external IT vendors
to ensure reliable support and service continuity. Support the
development of documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for
repeatable IT Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of
experience in Information Technology, with direct responsibility in
help desk, systems administration, and IT operations. Strong
experience administering Microsoft 365, including GCC environments.
Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online configuration, site
management, and user governance. Proficiency in Power Automate and
familiarity with the broader Microsoft Power Platform. Experience
with Microsoft Security Center and endpoint protection tools.
Understanding of cybersecurity and compliance standards including
NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and CMMC. Experience with IT ticketing
systems and managed service provider coordination. Ability to
explain complex technical solutions to non-technical users.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. U.S. Citizenship
required (due to potential clearance requirements). Ability to
obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
