Professional CDL Shuttle Driver Summary: Pompeian Olive Oil company is actively recruiting CDL-A truck drivers reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. Drivers will be home daily driving a local trucking route transporting goods. No loading or unloading required. CDL-A truck drivers will be responsible for operating a 53 ft trailer. Drivers will manage proof of delivery paperwork, inspection of vehicle and able to drive safely with loaded truck. CDL-A driver's must hold an updated A license with working experience in the industry. Drivers must have a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, DOT regulations and obeying federal, state, and local laws. Pompeian is headquartered at 4201 Pulaski Highway in Baltimore. --CDL Requirements: High school Diploma or Trade School equivalent training CDL-A driver must have minimum of 3 years experience-- Current and verifiable CDL-A license with a clean driving record and driving experience
Must be 18 years of age
Must pass a current DOT physical and DOT pre-screening pre-employment
Must possess and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate and meet FMCSA Medical standards
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial vehicle in the last three (3) years
Must be able to demonstrate the safe operation of a vehicle assigned and vehicle maintenance
Must possess knowledge of safety, compliance, and regulations within the transportation industry

Refuel and clean vehicle Follow traffic laws and report road incidents to Manager
Follow accident procedures and report any mechanical problems to Manager
Inform Manager of potential delays or issues
Keep activities log and log hours
CDL driver must be able to prepare and document activities in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies and procedures
CDL driver must be able to perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle including airbrakes
CDL-A driver must be able to work rotating shifts
CDL-A must keep driver license up to date at all times
CDL shuttle driver must comply with company environmental goals-- Follow all GMP's, safety and proper PPE requirements
