Job Description Job Description Summary The End User Specialist
position will execute and implement organizational strategies with
the core Lawless Group end users to increase product demand and
sell through at the field level. The End User Specialist will
manage the field relationships (regional, district, and territory)
and ensure that he/she is engaged and assisting our key users'
partners and target end users in the field to gain market share and
converting new target end users through training, sampling, and
customer conversions. The End User Specialist will engage the end
user directly and coordinate the execution of those objectives and
work plans through our manufacturer partners and Lawless personnel.
The End User Specialist will report to the President and will
assist and communicate with the product development team
(manufacturers) for NPD and VOC work. Duties • Assist the sales
team in growing sales, market share, and profit of a given
geographic territory. • Work with local Territory Sales Managers to
coordinate efforts to target large professional end user accounts.
• Building relationships with key organizations and training arms
of those organizations. • Obtain and maintain knowledge of the
marketplace (users, applications, products, competition, and
distribution channels). • Deliver product presentations and safety
training to end users. • Work with key professional end user
accounts to convert competitive products to brands we represent in
the local market. • Work with product management to identify new
product opportunities and execute field testing. • Occasionally
provide support in areas such as product training, event
participation and joint sales calls with distribution centers. •
Work with the territory sales managers on efforts to train, coach
and mentor the team for continuous improvement in performance. •
Provide feedback from the field to corporate management such as
product and application trends related to new product development,
quality and performance of various products, trends in competition,
end users and channels of distribution, and market acceptance of
new product launches. • Utilize internal/external CRM tool to
report on all activities including, but not limited to promotions,
campaigns, sales calls and conversation activities. • Utilize the
CRM tool to enter tasks, opportunities, contacts and any other
pertinent information daily to ensure information is up to date and
accurate on the funnel and other activity is accounted for in
salesforce.com. • Work with manufacturers who have the CRM tool and
communicate best practices, suggestions, competitive information,
and constructive feedback to increase our efficiency with
salesforce.com. • Follow guidelines for service levels, develop
relationships and provide appropriate service to our customer base,
expedite market acceptance of new, derivative, and current products
within the portion of manufacturers with the appropriate level of
customer intimacy. Working Conditions: • This position requires
more than a normal 40-hour work week. Specific hours to be on site
will be determined by the manager. • Willing to work early
mornings, evenings and weekends when necessary. • This is an onsite
position with 75% travel by car including some overnight stays when
necessary. Travel may also include flying to and from meetings. •
Normal hearing and vision are essential for conversations,
receiving information, and preparing documents. Requirements •
Bachelor’s degree from and accredited college/university or 5 years
of sales experience. • Demonstrated experience working with end
users specifically in industrial and distribution. • Experience in
a fast-paced, team, and customer service environment. • Experience
with presenting, holding sales meetings and product training. •
Demonstrated track record for past sales growth. Nice To Haves •
